New name, signature game: UKF2020 takes off where the leading bass brand’s UKF10 series left us last year. A series of exclusive releases from across the bass spectrum, stacked with agenda-setting talent, expect brand new new to drop every single fortnight for the rest of this strange and turbulent year. It starts right here with Technimatic.

Friends of UKF since they were Technicolour & Komatic, the Shogun Audio duo have grown with UKF over the years and are ideal artists to launch the series. It starts with ‘Lakota’. Gentle, measured, laced with real emotion, ‘Lakota’ is a classic piano-led liquid number that’s stripped-back perfectly to allow A Little Sound to add her touching twist.

A hotly-tipped drum & bass vocalist based in Bristol, A Little Sound is the perfect complement to Technimatic’s beats. Fresh from her Kanine collaboration, the in-demand young singer weaves between the elements both as lead and as backing harmonies. The result is a subtle, soulful, dreamy tune that sets the tone for UKF2020 and the summer months. Stay tuned for more UKF2020 dispatches very very soon.
